Desneé E. Young is a passionate writer and poet whose words reflect a deep connection to faith, spirituality, and the beauty of life. With a heart filled with devotion and a pen that dances gracefully across the pages, Desneé weaves verses that resonate with believers and seekers alike.

Desneé was born in Daytona Beach, Florida, and is a graduate of Bethune-Cookman University. She also holds a master’s degree in business; and as a child of the 60’s, Desneé has been a witness to many social and political events that have affected the world both positively and negatively, shaping her views about people, right and wrong, and the need for acceptance, understanding, and love. However, her lifelong love of reading and writing, as well as her love of God, is reflected in her books of poetry.

“Poetry has always been my passion. The only thing greater than that is my love for God. God has always been the one in my life that I know I can depend on. He has been my greatest teacher. He has been a disciplinarian when I have faltered and my strength in times of great turmoil and loss.

My writing is created to encourage reflection, growth, and understanding, and to offer support to those navigating life’s journey.
